The Climate Collective Transition Initiative’s purpose is to foster constructive, research‑informed dialogue between institutional investors and sovereigns on climate transition readiness.
Climate change poses long‑term economic risks and opportunities at the country level. Governments play a central role in shaping the policies, institutions and fiscal frameworks that determine how economies adapt to climate impacts and transition toward a low‑carbon future. Understanding how these choices affect long‑term economic resilience is essential for both policymakers and long‑term investors.
The initiative provides a collaborative platform for investors to:
- engage sovereigns on climate ambition, policy design and implementation;
- support greater transparency on climate‑related economic risks; and
- exchange perspectives in a structured, credible and forward‑looking manner.
This is a standalone engagement initiative. It does not prescribe policy outcomes, interfere with sovereign decision‑making, or impose any investment actions, products or allocation requirements. Instead, it aims to contribute to better‑informed dialogue and more resilient economic outcomes over time, grounded in independent data and mutual respect.
